Mental Health-Focused Apparel Makers & Brands

For Mental Health Awareness Month, Press Hall wanted to put together a list of apparel makers and apparel brands that focus on mental health within their clothing designs. While working with Sophie and her mental-health-focused apparel brand (@seethewayisee), we realized that she isn’t the only apparel maker that wants to raise awareness and reduce the stigma. That’s why we’ve put together this list. If you want to support or purchase mental-health-focused apparel, check out these brands and makers!

Groovy Doodies

A body-positive clothing brand we really need right now, the Groovy Doodies makes size-inclusive apparel in flattering colors with funky prints based on artist Bre Angelique's drawings. It's like wearing a Banksy with a life-affirming message. Count us in!

Couch Potato Lab

Cute oversized crewneck sweats with positive and self-affirming messages are the hallmark of this Canadian brand. They also make cool printed mugs and t-shirts — we're loving those sweet pastel colors.

Jenn San Designs

A brand that makes apparel that encourages women? Yaas Queen! We love how understated her designs are; totally wearable for every day. Who rules the world? Those t-shirts will leave no one in any doubt.

Elle Nicole

Elle Nicole is ‘passionate’ and ‘maybe even obsessive’ about apparel, in her own words. This really shows in her well-crafted range of hoodies, accessories, and one-of-a-kind pieces. We’re especially digging the cute crop tops.

Stay Wear

A brand that inspires self-acceptance, positive mental health, and staying kind. They also donate 10% of their profits to charity.

Huh Clothing

A brand that donates to mental health charities in both the United States and Ireland. They make sweatshirts and vests - great if you need something a bit warmer.
